The Teaser/Trailer 1 has been completed a few months ago, and now we're getting ready for Kickstarter campaign to crowdsource the movie. With an addition of Arseniy Bolotsko to our team - we're on track with social media/ PR development. We're very excited to have Arseniy onboard!
What PRODUCTS OF INFLUENCE is about?
The ingredients, which are adding up to a violent
demise of organic youth culture, are staring us all in the
face. Not just in school, T.V. shows and films but at home
and by example. The longer we do nothing to change the food
that is in the cafeterias and the programming that is on
youth oriented television channels, the longer this mixed
message will spew unwanted side effects. The isolationism
and suburban breeding is causing a warped perspective on
multiple levels. The lack of sincere attention given to an
emerging mind can cause repressive pitfalls into
depression. If no proper support is given, the unwary
adolescent can find themselves led to means of expression
that coincide with what is seen as newsworthy. This
usually ends in innocents losing their lives as a sideshow.
Writer/Director Evan Taff talks about POI in a Director's Video [coming soon]Products of Influence is a narrative film project that will be a cautionary tale to those inclined to judge the burgeoning youth. Hopefully, parents will want to talk to their teens about their emotional states after seeing the film. Younger people could feel the jolt and terror of the journey of the main characters and identify with them in a way that will not make them want to imitate their actions but stay away from them and their consequences.
